Corporate advertising e.g. advertising the company as opposed to its products is also allowable with the general public and does not fall within the scope of regulations on medicines advertising unless the content includes items related to medicines.
At AstraZeneca, corporate communications and advertising are out of scope for nominated Signatory review unless the content relates to our products, therapy areas or includes disease information related to those therapy areas.
Here are some examples of corporate advertising from gsk, Pfizer and Bayer: note that no products are mentioned – the companies cover their activities, ethos or research in very general terms.
